Why can't I win at anything?

Help, my playing sucks.

I use your basic high-low count (-1 to +6). I use Stanford Wong's tables for this system. I play mostly 6 deck shoes with a maximum casino edge of .41%. I usually play at a full table since it's easier for me to keep a count when things move slower. I do not play negative counts. If the shoe's true count goes negative more that 2 dealing rounds in a row, I find a new shoe. My betting spread is as follows:

Count: <0 0/+1 +2 +3 +4
Bet: $5 $10 $20 $30 $40.

I travel a lot in my work and have played at approximately 10 casinos this summer with a total of maybe 30 playing hrs. So far I am in the hole over $300.

I also have been practicing with Casino Verite extensively, many, many, many hours. CV keeps the count accurately and corrects any mistake that I make. But still I consistently lose money even here. I have never won in in the long run with CV. I am beginning to think something is not right . Help!

I could surely use someone's expert advice as to what I might be doing wrong.
