Cut Card Data at various penetrations

Here is some data on the cut card effect at various penetrations. These are from sims of a single deck game, heads-on, with a generic Basic Strategy. The table below shows the average HiLo true count a player sees as a function of the shuffle point.

CC is the position of the cut card. CC=13 means that 13 cards are behind it. More precisely, it means that I would begin another round only if 14 or more cards remain undealt. SE is the standard Error on the TC Mean. AR is the "average number of rounds". I also listed the minimum number of rounds and the maximum number of rounds. These are probably not very informative, because if we have one anomalous deck, it could change the min and max.

I have also tracked the data on each round for each of the sims above. Below is the data for the "CC=13" run.

Shuffle Point was 13

This tells you that on each first round, the average TC was -.0024. The Standard Error was .00191. That is,the mean is not statistically distinguishable from 0; I customarily place a * on all such answers. "Number" is the number of ceks on which such a round was observed.

In this game we see no cut card effect until the seventh round. There are fewer seventh rounds, and those that do occur are from slightly depleted decks. There are far fewer eight rounds, and of course they only come from negative decks. Occasionally we get a ninth round, and those are from very depleted decks.

I have table like this for all the runs I did; I will try to post that below as a response to this.
