The expected value of various plays for a given hand tell one exactly which play is best. The following tables list every player two card combination along with the expected value associated with hitting, standing, doubling, and pair splitting. In addition, the tables provide the probability of a specific hand being dealt for a give dealer up-card. The data is calculated assuming optimal play and also takes into consideration the player's initial two cards and the dealer's face-up card.1D means single deck; 2D means double deck; H17 means dealer hits soft 17; DOA means the player is allowed to double down on any initial two cards; RSA=0 means that Aces can only be split one time and cannot be resplit; RSP=4 means pairs other than aces can be replit until the player is playing four hands on the one spot.
